magnificent location, friendly staff, lots of food for the english breakfast. very clean rooms and facilities. windermere is not far from the hotel.

Nothing beats being in Holly. Comforts of standard double room were fabulous - an ironing set, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and iPod docking station. The owner was lovely. This hotel offers a very good breakfast.

The location was marvelous, about a 15-minute walk from the Windermere train station. All the main sights, including brockhole are in front of the hotel

The breakfast is sensational. Really close to brockhole lake district visitor centre. Of course, we totally recommend it to friends. Free WiFi was very useful.
